Beautiful Darling by Simon Halbig Factory always a Treasure. She is so beautiful with blue spiral sleep eyes. She has a gorgeous face with shy expression. Her head has No damages, such cracks or hairlines. This girl is 26 inch standing and beautifully dressed in a fancy French style costume made of silk and cotton. The costume is lined. The head has beautiful expert painting with sleep blue eyes with wax. Painted low eyelashes and painted eyebrows. She has an open month with four porcelain teeth. She has pierced ears with vintage earrings. She does not have any earholes chips. There some paint missing around earholes. She has cardboard pate probably antique with an antique hair wig. Only one thing I want to mention. She has She has one imperfection to her head which I truly believe was done in the bisque molding before the firing. It is a slight excess of the bisque which has a mark white line on a back of her head. It is not noticeable visually or by touching.. It does not affect her facial beauty. I would like to say this line did not consider as a flaw to keep this head out from production. The photos are attached. This girl in her antique French Fully Articulated body. The body has all original finish. Her body used to have a repaint I have removed old repaint and now she has a beautiful original finish. No varnish. Her hands are repainted and may be a replacement. Clothes is beautiful, antique undergarments, leather reproduction shoes with white socks. Costume is gorgeous with matching bonnet. Costume is lined. It was made for her.
