They have crotchet shoe laces. These shoes are a wonderful reproduction of old antique shoes by using old patterns. They have a pointy nose. Sole is made of very light thin leather. They are suitable to your French or German Doll. Please check the measurements for these particular shoes. 2 1/2" long by 1 1/8" wide at the widest point.
