Beautiful doll by Simon Halbig Know as Santa Girl, Rare found very beautiful Santa in Rare Big Size as a Child. She is 33”tall circa 1900, the model was registered in Germany in 1898. You won't found the doll of this mold in this size too soon. She is Gorgeous with brown big sleep eyes and amazing costumes with layers and layers of antique fabric. She has a Mold number 1248 which resembles to Simon Halbig Santa Mold Dolls. She has small triangle at the bottom of her lip which only Santa dolls have it. . She has an antique mohair wig. She has pierced ears with earrings. Her right ear lobe hole has a white spot of missing paint, she has porcelain teeth. Her Head is Free from DAMAGES! Markings: 1248 Germany Simon Halbig S&H She is in her original German high quality sturdy heavy wood and composition ball jointed body. Tightly strung. Body has no markings but it is resembles to Simon Halbig doll's bodies. Body is clean with gorgeous original finish. Wonderful condition and quality. All original finish except her hands are repainted and paint touch up around her neck. Some minor crazing to the composition. She has Gorgeous costume with layers and layers of antique fabrics. She wears child antique cotton white dress with lace trim and golden satin sash. She has little vintage hat with velvet flowers. I believe the hat is from 1940s circa.
