24" Antique French Early DEP 11 ~ Original Antique Costume ~ 1895ca+ Layaway ~ The most beautiful and Rare to Find Antique French DEP Lovely girl is 24 inch high and the best example of early DEP open mouth dolls produced by the Jumeau Factory. The doll originates from the Jumeau factory with head supplied by Simon Halbig. It is a very early head I suspect from 1890-1895ca+. Her bisque socket head has beautiful exceptional facial features. She has magnificent sleep eyes with painted light brown brows. She does not have molded eyebrows like other later versions of DEP head made by Simon Halbig. This bisque head has the same early Jumeau angle cut like earlier versions of DEP with close mouth. She is Free of DAMAGES! NO Cracks or Hairlines. She has an early Sonneberg body with lovely finish. No major repairs or repaint. She is strung very well and can stand on her own, but I would not take a chance, always better with a stand. Her hands have minor paint touch up.. The little pinkie on her right hand is chipped and shorter. I am not sure if someone was trying to repair, but it is short and the hands have some paint touch up.
